Since 1990, when we were "accidentally discovered" by a dedicated group of Quilters, the word has spread that we are the perfect venue to get away from the distractions of city hustle and family commitments for a leisurely weekend of enjoying delicious food, the company of good friends and the time to concentrate on your favourite pastime.
The "sewing" room is beautifully located, overlooking the river. The room itself is 100 sq mtrs and fully air-conditioned. There is a kitchen with continuous filter coffee and a wide choice of teas. Delicious meals are served in the dining room of our old colonial house, and morning and afternoon tea is served in the sewing room.
Group bookings: Most of our craft groups organise a date suitable for all attendees and come to us to discuss availability and arrange final details – dietary requirements etc.
Individuals: All of the group organizers welcome newcomers to their groups and we can introduce you to someone in your local area who can assist with classes, purchase of materials etc.
Weekend Package:
$285.00 - Arriving Friday evening and leaving Sunday afternoon, including all meals, morning and afternoon teas
